Saddled on the back of

Carrying a sacred vessel across

She clears the space 

Widens the circle

Creates a path where 

A wall had been erected 

Forges a truth untarnished 

By the force of history 

She weaves re-creation stories 

Out of remnants and ruins 

Becomes a messenger 

For what is possible 

A mirror raised like a protest sign 

To magnify the majesty 

Of this moment

She is a loyal steward 

Of original promises 

She acknowledges 

Her emotions as 

Creative accomplices 

Their voices ripple through 

Her body of water 

Like a singing creek 

She finds relief 

In the sweet release 

Of their undercurrent 

She allows herself to become 

The shape of what she loves

Her commitment 

Is in her willingness 

To show up 

And be present 

To access her gifts in service 

Of a collective awakening 

To make the invisible 

Visible 

She is dedicated to re-wilding 

That which has been domesticated

And taming the untenable 

She has come 

Riding on the back of her ancestors dreams 

She rattles the heart 

Back into its primordial power

A power whose source is in the earth 

And with the arrow of her intent 

She reshapes 

A future
